Barrière recruits for around fifty positions:

  • Accommodation: reception, concierge, housekeeping, etc.
  • Catering: kitchen, front of house, bar, sommelier, etc.
  • Gaming & entertainment: croupiers, MCD, stage managers, etc.
  • Wellness & Sports: spa practitioners, sports coaches, lifeguards, etc.

The Barrière Group operates in many regions of France (Paris, Deauville, Cannes, Lille, Toulouse, La Baule, etc.) as well as internationally (Switzerland, Morocco, Ivory Coast, etc.).

2. Recruitment process

Yes, you can apply for several positions. However, we advise you to focus on the vacancies that best match your profile and aspirations.
You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt as soon as your application is registered. Response times may vary, but our teams will endeavour to get back to you within 1 to 2 weeks.

The process may vary depending on the position, but it generally follows these steps:

  1. Analysis of your CV and profile.
  2. Initial telephone or video interview.
  3. Interview(s) with the manager and/or HR.
  4. In some cases, a technical test, role-play or psychometric test.
  5. Contract proposal and signing.

3. Profiles sought

We recruit both motivated beginners and experienced professionals. Personal qualities, such as team spirit and excellent service, are just as important as technical skills.
Not necessarily. Some jobs require specific expertise, but other positions are open to candidates without prior experience. Internal training is available to help you develop your skills (e.g. croupier school).

Yes, every year we welcome many work-study students, interns and apprentices in a variety of fields.

Working hours depend on the position. In operational roles (kitchen, reception, games, entertainment, etc.), shift work, weekends and public holidays are common. However, at Barrière, depending on your position, we guarantee you five weekends off per year, extra pay for night shifts, quarterly overtime pay, etc. In support roles, working hours are more regular.
Remuneration varies according to the job, experience and location. It complies with the applicable collective agreements and may be supplemented by bonuses, benefits in kind and tips (in certain jobs).

Yes, Barrière has an internal training organisation, Campus Barrière, which enables our employees to acquire and develop their skills.
